We collect the information needed to run a scan, respond to a request, and deliver the service you ask for.

Free scans and reports

We load the public website address you submit, test one page with axe-core, and save the findings and a desktop screenshot. Query strings and URL fragments are removed before scanning. Do not submit private or sensitive pages.

Report links are randomly generated and excluded from search indexing. Anyone with the link can view or download the report; they are not password protected. Reports expire after 30 days. Scheduled maintenance deletes expired reports when configured. We do not require an email or an account for a free scan.

Service requests

When you request a fix or join the monitoring waitlist, we store your email, store address, platform, optional theme name and notes, consent to be contacted, and request date. We use these to review and respond to your request. Do not include passwords, access tokens, or other credentials.

Security and hosting

Our hosting provider, Vercel, may log request information including IP addresses and browser details for operations and security. We use a one-way keyed hash of the IP address for rate limiting. Rate-limit counters expire automatically. Scan reports and service records are stored using Neon Postgres when the service is configured.

Payments

Stripe handles payments and card details. We do not store card numbers. If you choose to pay for completed work, Stripe’s privacy policy applies to payment information. A request form does not charge you or start a subscription.

Email and monitoring

We use your contact email to discuss your request and provide the service. Joining the monitoring waitlist does not create a paid subscription. We do not sell your personal information. You can ask us to stop nonessential email at any time.

Cookies and analytics

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The private operations area uses a necessary, time-limited session cookie for administrator authentication.

Retention and your choices

Scan reports are accessible for 30 days. Service requests are retained while needed to handle your request, deliver work, or meet recordkeeping obligations. Email hello@openaisle.co to request access, correction, or deletion, or to leave the waitlist.
